There were three of us guys in today's class. One was the younger guy who has been dancing "a few months" and is already pretty good. He caught Dengue Fever over the holidays; it'd be a perfect "serves you right for being better than I am" except he's a nice guy and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. The other is an older man, seemingly just starting out.
The big news today is that I nailed all my pirouettes to the right: up and stable, the turn seeming secondary to the relevé. Actually ended up having to come down to stop the turn after over-rotating a bit, and might have been able to do 1.5. Turns to the left, though, are still a struggle. Still, it's progress.

Comments are encouraged! It doesn't matter whether you're a total newbie asking a question or a professional offering advice; I want to hear from you.
That said, Blogger sometimes quarantines comments for reasons I can't explain. If your comment doesn't show up immediately it may be waiting for approval. I'll approve almost anything relevant, but I have to notice it first! Spam will be trashed, of course.
