The USA just took over the top ranking for the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the world. That's an "honor" I think we could and should have done without.
Things are pretty quiet where I am. I'm healthy, as are my friends and family. I've been tele-working for the last two weeks and have been told to expect to continue that way for the next month or so. I tele-worked for much of the 2000's, so it's mostly been a matter of reestablishing the routine. I did a bunch of cooking the first week to stock my freezer with prepared meals, but otherwise it's been pretty boring.
The thing I miss most about the shutdown of "non-essential" businesses is my ballet classes. There are quite a few live and recorded "classes" available on various websites, but it's not the same and there's no real substitute for a ballet studio with a live instructor. It's a small sacrifice in the larger scheme of things, but I'm looking forward to the passing of this pandemic.

That said, Blogger sometimes quarantines comments for reasons I can't explain. If your comment doesn't show up immediately it may be waiting for approval. I'll approve almost anything relevant, but I have to notice it first! Spam will be trashed, of course.
