Late last week I started to have seasonal allergy symptoms: itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, etc. This coincided with a few beautiful days with comfortable temperatures that led me to open the windows. The thing is, I don't normally have seasonal allergies.
Sunday I was getting ready to leave my house for class. I had my keys in my hand and was reaching for my dance bag when I realized I didn't feel well. Although I'd been looking forward to class with this instructor, I decided I could just as easily take a class the next day when I was feeling better.
The next day I wasn't feeling better. My sinus congestion got worse. In the afternoon I developed a fever of about 100℉ (37.8℃). A home antigen plague test was negative. I spent much of the afternoon sleeping.
Tuesday I felt even worse. My temperature peaked at 101.1℉ (38.4℃). I spent much of the day asleep. My biggest entertainment has been answering incoming phone calls I'd normally ignore and playing games with the scammers.
Today, Wednesday, my temp is still elevated (100.5℉ or 38.1℃), but my congestion is clearing. An antigen test this afternoon (shown above) is also negative.
I'm hoping to be recovered enough by this weekend to attend my school's spring concert. The kids are doing "Coppélia" and "Meadow".
